Is this a registered medical device?

EMIS+ supplies this as a general wellness product, not as a registered medical device. What are the far-infrared and ultrasonic properties of this Bian Stone tool?

Natural Sibin Bian Stone emits far-infrared radiation at 8–15 μm wavelength when in contact with warm skin. This wavelength range coincides with the peak absorption spectrum of human tissue, enabling thermal energy penetration to subcutaneous depths. Additionally, each brushing stroke generates up to 3,708 ultrasonic micropulses, a property measured in laboratory analyses of genuine Sibin Bian Stone. These two physical phenomena — far-infrared emission and ultrasonic micropulse generation — are intrinsic material properties that require no electrical power source.

How should this device be used for optimal therapeutic benefit?

Apply a thin layer of massage oil or Gua Sha medium to the treatment area. Using moderate, consistent pressure, brush along the direction of the meridian pathway (generally centripetal — towards the heart — for lymphatic drainage, or along specific meridian routes as directed by a TCM practitioner). Each area should receive 15–30 strokes per session. Sessions typically last 15–20 minutes. Mild erythema (sha) is a normal physiological response. Avoid use over bony prominences, open wounds, inflamed skin, or areas with impaired sensation.
